Ninja and Cat style..

We had a great Halloween this year! Nick was on his week off so we all got to celebrate together!
Blaine was a ninja, Roxie was a kitty cat..

I took some treats to Blaine's class party. Me and Roxie made some eyeballs on a fork.
Most of the kids wouldn't eat them..

Then we went trick or treating. The kids both fell asleep before we even go to the houses.. SO we made the loop and let them sleep!

Nick took the kids door to door while I followed behind in the car!
It was really cold!

 Roxie looking kinda crazzzzy!!

Happy Halloween. I am so glad its over, I am not a big fan of Halloween, but the kids love it!

Blaine and Roxie..

Here are some random pictures from this last week..
It was freakin cold this week so we were all cooped up in the house alll week long..
We drove each other crazzzzy!!
But, it was fun to have Blaine home for "fall break".
Roxie has bubbles on her fingers.
She wanted to show Aunt Melissa..
These next pictures I found on my phone..
Blaine was the photographer here.

And I am guessing Roxie took these of him..

I got a huge wall unit off of facebook this week and the kids took over. Every cubby had something in it, including their beds. Roxie took it to heart and thought it really could be her bed and fell asleep in there. I had to take her out after a little bit cause her legs were all crammed up. Funny kids and their imaginations.
We got to hockey a little early last week and got to watch the Zamboni. The kids thought it was pretty cool!
Blaine patiently waiting to get on the ice.

Blaine posed the skeleton that we have for Halloween like this..
Then he thought he better pose just like it, in his undies. HAha!
We are ready to get back into routine even if it means waking up before the sun and going out in the cold for school. We like our routine we have going on and we were kind of a mess without it this week!
(I never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth)

Saturday is a special day.......

On Saturday we decided to ditch the big soccer jamboree and go pheasant hunting..
(Blaine was all for it!)
We had a great day! We went to the Grasslands and drove around. We saw some deer and found some good coyote hunting places. But, NO pheasants!!
So we headed back towards town and pulled in on a little plot for one last try.. Nick saw one and ran after it. One shot and the bird was down.. It popped up so he shot again, and it ran into the bushes never to be seen again! :(
He walked some more, saw some more, but in the end we came home empty handed!

Oil rigs all over te place!!

It was just what we needed.. A day of family, outdoors, and fun!
even though we didn't kill anything!

Pumpkin Carving!!!

On Friday we carved our pumpkins!!  We had some friends come over and we made homemade root beer, and pizza. And we carved our pumpkins! Everything was great!

Blaine did not love the guts of the pumpkins.. he would touch them and then run and wash his hands!

There they are!! They all turned out great!!!

RoXiE...

We cannot forget this little pistol.
I tell ya, this little girl has stolen my heart, and my patience..
She is like a roller coaster, Up and Down and Sideways withing 30 seconds!!
But man she is cute.. and the best cuddly bug, and a good little girl!

She likes to sit in the car and chat a little before we go in.

I am pretty sure she is going to be a hippy child..
She cracks me up!

 Dirty little face!!!
The other day she wore this cute little outfit, we went to walmart and the cashier told me that she would never let her kids go out in public wearing that.. I was offended, I think she looks cute..
 Dumb Granny!

I made her this little night gown.. She wears it ALL the time now!

 Like I said.. Hippy child!

My little Roxie. I love your guts! Toooooo much...
