Ice Ice BabY..

So, its been cold.

Not like sub zero cold, just cold.

Cold enough to freeze the whole Missouri River!!

We love to go for rides, and check out the new scenery. This is just like 10minutes from our house! This last year it flooded REALLY bad.. You can see the line above nicks head. That is how high thee water was! WOW!

There are still trees floating from the flood. Now its frozen! ha!

Gone fishin'

Technical difficulties people.. Difficulties.. :)

So, one day, It was cold outside..

We were all sick of being cooped up in the house

Nick had to put in his new headlights..

(he hit one of those huge Canadian Geese.. Busted the headlight..)

SO.. we put the heater in the Garage, and watched him.

The kids found the fishing poles, So they fished for leaves!
Sometimes Roxie was the fish, Sometimes Blaine was the fish..

Sometimes they just sat in their boat together and talked about life..

I am so lucky to have the best kids ever!! They keep themselves entertained all day long!

They play great with each other, They are awesome at wrestling each other..

Biting, hitting, screaming, you name it..

They are masters!

I sure do love 'em!

Grandmas and Grandpas

Foxie Roxie..

This little girl is sweet to the core. But, recently, the "terrible two's" have been getting the best of her! Yikes..

She is getting sooo good at talking. I was starting to get worried. :)

We have these lilac bushes that goes down one side of our yard. they are like 15 feet tall. I love them! The birds love them too.. So, the kids like to go scare the birds.. haha..

She is soo sweet! Sometimes, she can make me loose my mind. But it is hard for me to get mad at this little girl. She has me wrapped around her little princess finger. (great) I love how she comes in every morning and gives me kisses, then yells at me cause she is hungry!!!

She LOVES church.. everyday she says "mom guess what?" "Tomorrow is Church!"

Ode to Blaine..

This little mad can be the cause of my most frustration..

But man, I cant stop loving him!!!

He is the biggest helper. Ever!

He takes care of his sister. He does the dishes with me.

And he can kick anybodies butt in Mario!

He loves to be handsome. Hair combed, teeth brushes, glasses on.

He loves to wrestle with anyone! He is NACHOOOO...

Superman!

He is my favorite little man EVER!!!Look at that smile..
He is one heck of a fisherman. He Loves to fish!

And, he is an artist! This is his turtle! :)

I love blainer soo much! I think moving here has made us so much closer as a family! Me and the kids do everything together.. EVERYTHING! (and nick when he isn't working!)

I feel like it is making me a better mom..

My kids are my best friends!

We have the most amazing parks here.

This one is our favorite!

Spring Lake Park.. It has playgrounds, it has fishing, picnic sites, walking/biking paths, Frisbee golf course... you name it, it has it!!

It is soooo pretty!

He would be the reason I came here..

See that big truck right by him, the one getting filled up with tons of water?

That would be the reason He came here!!

Nick has been working his butt off since we got up here..

The more he works.

The sooner we get to leave!! :)

What does he do while he is not workin his butt off??

Wrastlin with the kiddies.. I'm not quite sure what it is about having your dad throw you across the room, and pound you to the ground, and throw pillows at you..But my kids.. They LOVE it!!!

This is why we moved up here.. Moments like this.. Nick was only away from us for 3 Months. But we just couldn't do it with out him! He's our sunshine on a rainy day. We missed him too much!
I am soooo grateful that we were able to come here with him. We are so blessed!!

{maybe one day I will tell you the crazy story of us finding a place to live! Prayers are answered!}

Well I got about half of my pictures to upload off my camera! YEAH!

So here we go!!

These are just some pictures of the country up here..

These are sunflowers. They are as far as you can see.. EVERYWHERE!! It is really pretty!

And, they mow it. all.

Down the middle of the highways, down the side of the roads.. you name it, they mow it.

Its not for eating though. Its ethanol. (whatever that is)

And this beauty, is our new home! I did get nick to take down the handicrap ramp though.
