HOCKEY!!!!!

Blaine also started to play hockey this last week!

Day 1 was little bit scary, but day 2 he ROCKED it!!

He is really getting good at skating and I think that next week he will be able to

skate without the chair!!

He really likes it and we do too!!

We are excited to watch him in all his sports!!

Man time...

A few weeks ago Nick and Blaine had a "Man Day".

They went to the gun range and shot the guns.

Nick has been working a ton lately, and with Blaine going to school they

hardly get to see each other on the two weeks nick works.

So.. a new tradition has been made!

Every Saturday of nicks week off will be their man day!

And he loved every minute!

Roxie and I met up with them for lunch and then sent them on their way again to go hang out!

I sure do love my two men!

 



Orange Iguanas!!!!

Blaine decided he wanted to play soccer!! He LOVES it! And we LOVE watching him play!

All the other boys are like 5 feet taller than him, but he holds his own!

This is his very first game, he did really good!! :)

 

 Sometimes he is in his own little world, along with all the other kids.

This little girl that is sitting down does cartwheel after cartwheel..

She almost scored a goal with a kick from a cartwheel!

 Half time pep talk! He loved that his dad got to be there for his first big game!

 Roxie isnt quite sure about this whole blaine playing soccer and her sitting on the side lines..

This week has flown right by..

Time seems to go faster now that Blaine is in school!

My and Roxie have been having fun hanging out..

She is such a goof ball!!

 She is the sweetest thing, and the cutest!!

 

The other day it was early release, so blaine said we had to do something fun!

It was super windy so we decided to bust out the spider man kite!

It fly like a champ.

 

I grew a garden this year. It started out just being a few things planted in pots on the porch..

My landlord thought I was crazy and decided he needed to plow me a garden spot.

So, I had to get more plants and do a real garden.. (dang)

They have weeds up here like I have never seen, and after going on vacation for a week, I came home to a weed patch so i kinda gave up on it.

Well it has been growing like crazy, and I have been getting some good stuff!!

I am going to have enough zucchini to last ALL winter long!

Good thing we love zucchini bread and soup!

Saturday is a new thing to us!!

Saturday actually matters to us now~

Before, everyday was like Saturday.

Although, there was no sleeping in.

There were things to be done.

After chores were done, we headed to the park.

 They got new swings! Blaine LOVED them, Roxie screamed..

 

 We went to check out the lake.

And of course, someone had to fall in.

Don't worry, It wasn't me! :)

Roxie was the winner this time!

 There were tons of Canadian Geese on the lake..

I wonder if they are heading South for winter?

 Blaine running.. haha!! He found a feather, and saw a muskrat!

 Here is Bruzer. He is getting huge!

Me and the kids played outside for a while with the dog, and all these birds started circling around the neighborhood.. There were millions.. Kind of freaky!

So we went inside..

Saturdays are great! :)

P.S. Did I mention I was doped up on pain pills?? I have been trying to pas a dang kidney stone since thursday night...  Thank goodness my kids are entertained easily..:)
